Job Description
The Label Room Attendant will be responsible for check-in/check-out of all production labels as well as any needed printing operations as dictated by the production schedule. This job opening is for our 2nd shift, which works Monday - Friday from 2:30PM-11:00PM.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Control the distribution of all container labels while providing a secondary accuracy check to avoid any potential mislabeling of containers.
- Print / finish container labels in accordance with the production schedule.
- Care and maintain the operational integrity of all printers/finishers.
- Navigate and maintain computerized artwork (.tif) files. Report any issues with the IT and/or graphics department.
- Effectively communicate container label availability to foreman, managers, and scheduling.
- Overall organization and housekeeping within the label room.
- Occasionally lift and/or move labels and printing supplies up to 60 pounds
Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent is a minimum. A two year degree from a college or technical school is desired.
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong computer skills are a must.
- Employee must be dependable.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to read, edit, proofread and interpret documents such as, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), product labeling, and production schedules.
