Accounting Clerk - Part Time

Intercon is seeking an Accounting Clerk- Part Time to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative, office, and basic accounting duties for the Finance Department.
  • Respond to emails from businesses and answer phone calls.
  • Assist Department with ad hoc analysis and reports.
  • Accurate and efficient data entry to maintain finance records.
  • Reconcile accounts promptly.
  • Update various monthly accounting schedules.
  • Assist in coding AP invoices as needed.
  • Assist various Finance functions as required; Accts Payable, Accts Receivable, Purchasing, and Payroll.
  • Function per established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles or currently pursuing an accounting degree.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software is a plus.
